UPDATE: The stranded hiker deputies were looking for was found dead.
TUCSON, Ariz. — Public Information Officer Deputy Gordon R. Downing has confirmed a hiker the Pima County Sheriff's Department was looking for is dead.Around 12:45 p.m., units arrived on the location and have been searching the area in all directions, including from above with air support.
"The incoming storms are altering our ability to search from above but we continue trying to locate the patient using maps of the area," TFD said.
