FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A structure fire that took place last night, Monday, May 15, has left Spice It Up Restaurant on Airport Way closed for the time being.
According to Fairbanks Fire Chief Scott Raygor, the blaze originated in a food truck behind the building, before spreading to the roof of the main structure. The food truck has been totaled, and while the building saw significant roof damage, its interior has not been damaged by flame. However, there may be smoke damage inside.The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation, and according to Spice It Up’s Facebook Page, the business is closed until further notice.
