Wally Bell, a Major League Baseball umpire, died of a heart attack at age 48, just days after he worked the 2013 National League Division Series playoffs.

The statement from dean of students Eva Chatterjee-Sutton said “members of the W&J community, individually and collectively” apologized to Bell, her team and Westminster.
