Superman has a dark new team.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Superman is going on a new adventure, and his new teammates are far more used to the darkness than anything else. As Superman travels through the multiverse he'll need the help of John Constantine, Etrigan the Demon, and Hell's very own Superman, Bloodwynd.
This surprising team-up will take place in Action Comics #1060 this December. While Superman has been in the Justice League for a long time, he rarely interacts with members of Justice League Dark. But Action Comics #1060 promises a team-up between Superman, Constantine, Etrigan, and Bloodwynd, as they travel through the Multiverse to save his family from the traitor in their midst.
ACTION COMICS #1060 Superman Isn't Used to Working in Darkness Superman's immense power comes from being in sunlight, but not all of DC's characters thrive in the sunlight. While obvious characters like Batman prefer hiding in the darkness, other characters do all of their work in the dark.
While everyone knows and loves Superman, the same isn't always true for those heroes who avoid the light. Magic-user John Constantine is one of the DCU's greatest con artists, having tricked both God and the Devil several times. John is infamous for all of his friends dying around him, either through his own manipulations or simply by sin of knowing him. Likewise, Etrigan is a literal demon.
Can Superman Survive a Magical Team Up? On top of all this, one of Superman's few weaknesses is magic, meaning this magic-oriented team-up could lead to great danger for the Man of Steel. But he has spent his life in the light, both as a symbol of hope for those who need it and just so he can maintain his powers.
