A member of the public raised concerns after witnessing a painter disregard his own safety by climbing from a gondola into an HDB corridor.

The 64-year-old's wife was the first to spot the worker scaling the exterior of the 10th storey to access the corridor, leaving the couple shocked. She reportedly heard noises near their potted plants and saw the worker climb over. She suspected that the worker had entered the corridor to relieve himself.He added that a painter was seen resting nearby, using his phone. When confronted, the worker denied any involvement."We've asked the workers, and they have all denied it," the 42-year-old said, adding that a portable toilet was located less than a minute's walk from the worksite.
"We've since issued a warning to all workers, reminding them to prioritise safety. This will not happen again."
