Support for migrant workers, dormitories to continue under new MOM division via yahoosg
SINGAPORE — A new division in the Ministry of Manpower – the Assurance, Care and Engagement Group – will become fully operational on 1 October to continue the support to migrant workers and dormitory operations amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will provide a comprehensive medical support plan for the workers, and make health services more accessible to them. It will also foster partnerships between the workers and Singaporeans, workers’ groups, employers and dormitory operators.
