An arrest-warrant affidavit offers new details about the circumstances of a southeast Oak Cliff shooting in January whereCourt records also reveal that the man suspected in the Jan. 30 shooting, 36-year-old Aron Jackson, has been in custody since that day. It is unclear whether he has an attorney.
A witness told investigators that Jackson went to a home and fatally shot a man, striking him multiple times, the affidavit says.1 dead, 3 wounded, including 6-year-old, in Oak Cliff shooting, Dallas police say They asked Jackson why he was holding a gun and he began shooting, the affidavit says. A friend of the victim returned fire and shot Jackson, according to the affidavit.The affidavit says Jackson was still at the home when police arrived and that Dallas Fire-Rescue took him to a hospital.
