Swift digital shift of State financial management operations ordered
President Duterte has ordered the swift digital shift of the government’s financial management operations to promote contactless transactions especially during the coronavirus pandemic.The President made the pitch for the digitized government collections and disbursements not only to curb corruption but also minimize risk to the coronavirus infection.
“This entails the development of digital taxation and ICT infrastructure such as the EGov Pay Facility, to digitize government collections and disbursements,” he added.
