The 25-year-old finished second in the men’s 400m freestyle S7, clocking 5min 12.16sec behind Ernie Gawilan of the Philippines at the Hangzhou Aquatic Sports Arena. China’s Huang Xianquan took the bronze. He will compete in three more events in Hangzhou: the 100m backstroke S7 on Thursday, and 50m butterfly S7 and 50m freestyle S7 a day later.
