The TABC is trying to determine if the North Side bar and restaurant Evil Olive over-served City Councilman Clayton Perry. Police say he had 14 alcoholic drinks in four hours there shortly before he was involved in a hit-and-run crash.
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is investigating if Evil Olive, a North Side bar and restaurant, over-served City Councilman Clayton Perry on the night of his hit-and-run crash. Police said Perry was seen on Evil Olive’s surveillance video consuming 14 alcoholic beverages in four hours before the wreck occurred on Nov. 6.
The TABC regulates the sale and serving of alcohol to patrons in bars, restaurants, liquor stores, retail stores and other locations. Businesses found to have violated the law could face a fine or suspension of their license to sell alcohol, according to the TABC website.
