French and English plays, a nature challenge, and instrumental and choir concerts are sure to keep you busy this weekend.
Dancing Sky Theatre presents Jonas and Barry in the Home, a comedy by Canadian playwright Norm Foster. Cautious about a family history of heart disease, 67-year-old Barry lives in a seniors’ home. When the flamboyant Jonas arrives, the two men initially clash but then begin to bond and learn the secrets of each other’s lives. Opening Friday at Dancing Sky Theatre in Meacham, the play runs to May 15.
Everyone is invited to participate, observing nature and using the free iNaturalist app to submit pictures of wild plants, animals and fungi. The event runs Friday to Monday around Saskatoon.
