In an appearance on Fox Business, Cruz expressed his disappointment over the first son's expected guilty plea, portraying it as a great miscarriage of justice. He directed his ire against Garland, calling him the"most political attorney general the country has ever seen." Cruz said Garland is motivated by a vendetta against Trump."Merrick Garland, I believe, is the most political attorney general our country has ever seen," Cruz said.
"It’s Hunter’s fault, he’s the scapegoat, now be done with that," he continued."This is disgraceful and not the rule of law in our country."
