Catelynn and Tyler celebrate Carly’s 10th birthday on TeenMomOG – and reveal what they’ve told Nova about her sister (via toofab)
With Carly's 10th birthday on the horizon, they both spoke about their "super not normal" situation on Monday's new episode of the MTV show. When a producer asked Tyler what he'd tell someone who was thinking up placing their child up for adoption, he said knowing other family is key.
"If we would have known what we know now, we might have been like, we want kinda people that are kinda just relaxed," he added.Tyler also admitted the situation was probably just as odd for the Davis family, who likely didn't expect their child's birth parents to become reality stars, with Carly being a topic of discussion for a decade. "Our situation's super not normal," he added.
Catelynn also said that, when the time comes and Carly is older, she'd "tell her the raw reality" of why they put her up for adoption in the first place.
