Young man reported assault near the restrooms on Bay Street.

EMERYVILLE — A man sexually assaulted a 17-year-old male Friday morning, police said.

The youth said the sexual battery occurred around 10:15 a.m. near the restrooms on Bay Street, according to police. The attacker was described as an older white male with a gray beard and glasses. He was wearing a black hat, a black zip-up sweater with dark pants. The sweater has a red logo on the front and back.

Anyone with information regarding the attack should contact the Emeryville Police Department Criminal Investigations Section at 510-596-3700.
