Officers pulled up next to the Tesla’s driver’s side window and noticed the driver, only identified as a 45-year-old male, reclined in his seat with his eyes closed and his hands off the steering wheel. The driver eventually woke up after 15 minutes into the pursuit and followed police instructions to pull over. Further investigation revealed that the driver had placed a "so-called steering wheel weight in the footwell" of the car’s driver’s side.
