TEXAS — Another Texas man has been sentenced for his actions during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. Thirty-six-year-old David Lee Judd of Carrollton, Texas, has been sentenced to 32 months in prison for obstruction of an official proceeding and assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers. Both are considered felonies.
According to court documents, Judd was part of a group of people who entered Capitol grounds illegally on Jan. 6 after attending an earlier rally at the Ellipse. The group joined the violence that occurred in the tunnel area of the Capitol’s Lower West Terrace.
