Thaipusam SOP based on temple management proposals

NATIONAL Unity Minister Halimah Mohamed Sadique said Thaipusam standard operating procedures are drawn up based on temple management recommendations, as well as health risk assessments and measures to prevent Covid-19 transmission.

The proposals and requests were presented through engagement sessions to the ministry by temple management in several states. The feedback was brought to the Covid-19 Quartet Ministers Meeting for approval in line with public safety and health measures.
