regularly compares insurance quotes, so to determine which cars get the most speeding violations, the website looked at it’s database of 1.6 million insurance applications. Each applicant has to enter personal information including their car make and model and whether or not they’ve been pulled over for speeding in the past.
A few interesting insights the study found were none of the cars in the top ten are terribly expensive, averaging an MSRP of $37,285 and no single manufacturer landed on the list more than twice. And while the traditional sports cars are noticeably absent, newer, more affordable cars known for their cheap speed dominate the list. These are the ten cars most likely to get speeding tickets in the United States.
