Over the weekend, 22 people were killed and more than two dozen others were injured in a mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas. A manifesto said to be from the suspected shooter appeared beforehand an anonymous web forum named 8chan, which is owned and operated by Jim Watkins and his company, NT Technology. 8chan is offline as of Monday. Watkins is an American expatriate who now lives in the Philippines where he owns a pig farm in addition to operating 8chan.
