The living room of Mr David Ng's flat is where he spends the most time with his parents, who live with him.
Although he personally planned the layout and carpentry of the two-storey apartment – and picked the furniture, materials and palette – he brought in home-grown interior design firm Rezt+Relax to fine-tune the design. The rest of his extensive collection – comprising more amethyst crystals, rare stone figurines, stamps and Absolut Vodka bottles – is displayed on shelves, in glass-enclosed cabinets, above the television console, on the ledge behind the bed and on the floor.“I love this space as it has a view of many other parts of the home,” he says.
Mr Ng’s parents occupy the original master bedroom, which is decked out in a gold-and-bronze theme, with an attached bathroom.
