The National Records of Scotland has data on the most popular names in the country going back almost 100 years, and the Daily Record has rounded up eight that have seen a resurgence.

With both English and Hebrew roots, the name means 'gift of god's favor' and 'grace'. Iconic singer Annie Lennox is among the most famous Scots with the name.
