The British superstar appeared to be the last musician who had might have been able to move one million copies of a new album in the U.S., and her failure to do so suggests that nobody else will, perhaps ever again. In the past 10 years, the only artists who have also managed the feat are Taylor Swift and Drake, and while they are still two of the most popular stars in the industry, their latest efforts haven’t even come close to the million mark.
