Among the highlights this year are panels on the music of euphoriaHBO and JohnWickMovie

The full-day program includes panels on music in film, television, advertising and games. The event extends into the evening with interviews and performances at the Ivar Theater. featuring series creator Sam Levinson, editor Julio Perez and music supervisor Jen Malone; “The Music offeaturing composers Tyler Bates and Joel J.

Other panels/lectures include “Tech Tools,” “Sync Wars,” “Music Coordinator Takeover,” “Music Clearance 101” and “A&R and the Age of Sync.” The conference will be the last under current President/Music Supervisor Thomas Golubic, who is stepping down. “This is our 5th 'State of Music in Media' conference and after successful residencies at Berklee College of Music and USC we are bringing our conference to the Los Angeles Film School campus for a full day and evening of educational and music programming,” he said in a statement.

The Guild of Music Supervisors, which formed in 2010, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the craft of music supervision as well as serving as an educational and professional resource for music supervisors and those working in related fields.
