Linda Hamilton's iconic character is as fit and formidable as ever in Terminator: Dark Fate, but the movie ultimately squanders the opportunity to say something new.

Cameron, who credits himself for the radicalism of Sarah Connor, actually created the character with his producer and future wife, Gale Anne Hurd . Hurd and Cameron were divorced before preproduction began forwith another man, and the movie was directed by a man, written by three men, and based on a story by five men.
Sarah’s a bit of a normie oddball, but charmingly so. She doesn’t seem like someone preoccupied with the conventional trappings of womanhood, like marriage and children; rather, she’s perfectly content to keep hanging out with her roommate and her pet iguana, Pugsley, rather than wait by the phone for some guy to call her back.
