None of Pennsylvania's cities were ranked among the U.S.'s best for BBQ.
you’re, unfortunately, not eating the best offered in the U.S.of the 200 biggest cities in the country to determine which were the best for BBQ.
These 200 were graded across five main categories — “Access;” “Consumer Satisfaction;” “Competition Awards;” “Elite BBQ Memberships;” and “Hosting” — with final scores determined after relevant metrics such as “Barbecue Vendors per 100,000 Residents” and “Average Consumer Rating for Smokehouses” were added in.
One would have to scroll all the way down to the 96th overall spot to find the first mention of a city in the Keystone State — Pittsburgh — on the list. Philadelphia was even further down in the 122nd slot, getting particularly bleak marks in the “Consumer Satisfaction” category, in which it ranked 186th overall.
