Nick Jonas, the newest 'Voice' coach, twice attempted to swipe eliminated contestants during Knockouts only to be thwarted by his colleagues.
Jonas made a second attempt at a steal following the last Knockout of the night, which pitted Legend's Zan Fiskum and Joanna Serenko against each other.
"I made an argument before about getting back with an ex and how, how bad that is," he said, generating laughter from the crowd."But I would love to complete the circle here. It would be great for us to get back together."
