Wheel Of Time Already Hinted At Its Big Moiraine Reveal Not only did the shielding concept give The Wheel of Time an easy way to restore Moiraine’s connection to the Source, but the series had already provided strong clues at season 2’s big reveal. In fact, the truth was hidden in the season 1 finale. When Ishmael created the weave in question, he was seen moving his hands in a gesture that mimicked the tying of a knot.
