— working full-time, part-time or actively looking for work. This percentage is on the rise, and even larger in some areas outside the stereotypical coastal cities, including the midwest and great plains.
What are new business, investment, or customer opportunities now emerging because of the rise of Femtopia? Here are a few I’m watching: Finance: the financial needs of single women, couples with dual incomes, or individuals with independent wealth before marriage are different from those of the historical husband-as-breadwinner paradigm. Many areas of fintech are wide open for new products across these customer segments.
