BREAKING: MPs vote for a Bill to prevent a no-deal Brexit

An earlier vote in the House of Commons on Wednesday evening on whether to hold further indicative votes on Brexit resulted in a tie of 310-310. In a joint statement, the SNP’s Westminster leader Ian Blackford, Liberal Democrat leader Vince Cable, Green MP Caroline Lucas, Plaid Cymru Westminster leader Liz Saville-Roberts and the Independent Group spokesman Chuka Umunna said: “The UK is in the midst of a Brexit crisis led by a government dictated by incompetence.
