Several restaurants and hotels will open their doors on Nov. 23 with brunches, buffets and dinners. Many more are offering takeout meal packages.
Since the holiday is fast approaching, here’s a list of Thanksgiving Day dining options in central Pennsylvania. Keep checking back because we plan to update the list as we hear from more restaurants.The Barn at Allenberry is hosting a Thanksgiving buffet with two seatings at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The buffet features honey and herb roasted turkey and bourbon glazed ham with sides such as sage and apple stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams, green bean casserole and more.
The chain opens every year for Thanksgiving. This year, the restaurants will be open 8 a.m.-7 p.m. serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.Cracker Barrel is open regular business hours Thanksgiving Day and serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal beginning at 11 a.m.Greystone is open for Thanksgiving with a special menu featuring small plates, entrees, beverages and desserts.
