When the veggies are done, pull the bag out and shake it off to remove any excess water. That's it—no fishing out the vegetables with tongs, or worrying about getting scalded while you pour the boiling contents of the pot into a colander.
I was a little dubious of the bag the first time I saw it—it was small, and its neon color made it look more child's toy than real cooking tool. So I was surprised how much the mesh material expanded—an entire head of broccoli easily fit inside of it. And once the bag was filled and closed up by the drawstring silicone cord, it was easy to dunk into the boiling water, and even easier to remove.
