Winds will be 'strongest near coasts and on high ground'
It will be blustery with fresh to strong winds increasing to gale force for a time along west and northwest coasts.
Clear spells and scattered showers will follow overnight, most frequent over the western half of the country, and winds will decrease moderate to fresh.The showers will be heaviest and most frequent in the west. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees are forecasted, along with fresh and gusty winds, easing light to moderate during the evening.
