Curling fans can see the top college curling champions, the top university curling champions and the best mixed double curling champions in Canada
Curling fans in the Sudbury area are in for a treat as the 2023 Nickel City Curling Championships began this week at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury; both ice pads will be used. There will be no less than three national curling events taking place from March 15 through to March 26.
These events will see 32 of Canada's top university and college teams in competition, consisting of eight college women's teams, eight college men's teams along with eight university women's teams and eight university men's teams. Also, as official hosts of the event Laurentian University will have teams on the men's and women's side of the University roster.
Curling Canada said this will include 32 of Canada's very best mixed doubles teams competing for a national title, and fight to earn the right to represent Canada at the World Mixed Doubles Championship in Gangneung, Korea, April 22-29, 2023.
