that focuses on the seemingly never-ending boy struggles of teenaged Lara Jean . Though the plot itself may not contain as many twists or jaw-dropping scenes as one would typically look for in a film, the likeability of characters like Lara Jean, her younger sister Kitty , or her glamorous new friend Stormy , certainly keep your heart warmed throughout the film.
Just like when watching it’s original, you will find yourself rooting for the lovable Lara Jean the entire time. Her character development is complete with a new sense of maturity and self-assurance, not to mention the incredible level-up in her already coveted style and dreamy bedroom we all know we wish we had growing up.
For the sake of giving readers the chance to watch the plot unfold themselves, all left to be said is that this film is located at the perfect intersection between guilty pleasure tweenage rom-com and whimsical daydream. Between the carefully curated playlist , the stunning set design, and the adorably styled LJ outfits, this movie will bring out the 16-year-old girl in all of us.
