As part of the collaboration, Scott will also join Fortnite's Icon series, unveiled in January to showcase"the artistic vision, personality, and attitude of top creators" on its platform. Players have been able to use Scott's avatar, outfits and emotes since Tuesday.
Players who attended the Astronomical event get a free Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two loading screens, according to Epic. They can also unlock additional gear through a series of challenges. The Astronomical experience is the latest effort by Epic to expand Fortnite beyond just a video game. Last year, players got to check out a live in-game concert by DJ Marshmello, while JJ Abrams, director of"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," visited the game to share exclusive clips tied to the movie.
