trending: Viewers fawn over Singapore actor Adrian Pang’s appearance in Netflix K-drama Little Women
The drama, Little Women, is loosely adapted from Louisa May Alcott's classic novel of the same name. South Korean publication Korea JoongAng Daily reported that it now ranks as the top series on Netflix in several markets, including Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.Actress Kim Go Eun’s character Oh In-joo was arriving in Singapore at night and the camera panned to views of the Marina Bay skyline.
When her character reached Fullerton Hotel, she was awed by the grandiose of the hotel and its decor, and was greeted by the hotel manager — played by Singaporean actor Adrian Pang.Some viewers were thrilled by the appearance of Mr Pang, calling him “Adrian Oppa”."Oppa" is a Korean term of endearment to address an older man.
