Amidst his rant against Elijah Cummings’s “rat infested” district, the president failed to mention that Jared Kushner’s Baltimore property empire is said to be filled with vermin, maggots, and mold
that tenants of the Kushner properties had reported maggots, mold problems, and mouse infestations. In the Kushner Cos.’ Essex Park complex, for example, truck driversaid the mouse infestation was so bad that her 12-year-old daughter found one in her bed, while her two-year-old’s asthma was aggravated by allergens in mice droppings.
Vermin, mold, and maggots aside, business in Baltimore has been very, very good for the Kushners, whose Maryland properties at least $90 million in revenue each year.
