Tucson Auto Rental and Sales said they have only been getting about half the amount of sales and almost no inquiries since gas prices shot up.

TUCSON, Ariz. — As Abdulmaajid Abulkamal picks up the phone everyday, he knows it’s just one of the few calls he’ll be getting for the day from a customer hoping to rent a car.

He’s the manager of Tucson Auto Rental and Sales and said for months they’ve been making half the profit compared to what they used to make.
