Two arrested in Spring Valley after man injured during robbery [Breaking]

Two men were arrested early Sunday in Spring Valley following a robbery in which the victim suffered a laceration to the head.

San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a fight at fast-food restaurant at Sweetwater Road and Jamacha Road around 7:30 am. When they arrived, they discovered a man with a non-life-threatening head wound. The man, believed to be 60 years old, was transported to the hospital, according to the Sheriff’s Department spokesman.

A short distance away, Sheriff’s Deputies found two men — one 30 years old and the other in his mid-20s — under an overpass for State Route 125. They were taken into custody on charges of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
