Two crashes on the A737 within minutes of one another caused havoc for motorists yesterday afternoon.
The first crash happened around 2.25pm on the busy road near Linwood. The vehicle had to be removed from the dual carriageway. A short time later, a second crash occurred on the same route. Around 2.40pm, a silver Mercedes crashed into a lamppost near the Johnstone exit.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.40pm on Wednesday, September 20, officers received a report of a road crash on the A737 near Kilbarchan. The vehicle was recovered.
