Two men who were fatally shot Friday afternoon on the West Side in the West Garfield Park neighborhood have been identified, officials said.

Two men who were fatally shot in the Garfield Park neighborhood have been identified, officials said Saturday morning.

Sirjah Jones, 23, and Tyrice Tarver, 28, were gunned down about 12:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of W. West End Avenue, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.Tarver, of the 3800 block of West Gladys Avenue was pronounced dead at 1:48 p.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital while Jones, of the 1800 block of South Central Park Avenue, died at 5:19 p.m. at Mount Sinai, according to the medical examiner’s office.
