MANILA, Philippines -- Far Eastern University made quick work of University of the East , 25-9, 25-20, 25-17, to open their UAAP Season 82 women's volleyball campaign on a winning note on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Lady Tamaraws welcomed back sophomore Lycha Ebon, who missed a bulk of Season 81 due to an ACL injury. She set the tone of the match for FEU with a strong hit in her first attempt. New team captain Gel Cayuna anchored the win for FEU, notching back-to-back aces to seal the deal. She finished with 8 points and 18 excellent sets.
