Wait...what?
, some people look toward the future while others find theirs cut short. Before we take off our Stonewall uniform one last time, we need to cover the main plots of the evening:I’m combining Archie and Veronica’s storylines this week because they—for once—spend so much time together. Archie’s overwhelmed by running two businesses and attending school, and his dilemma gets worse when he finds out he won’t be graduating with his friends this year.
Archie also has his hands full with Veronica, who wants to hook up in every possible location in Riverdale, and who also brings a flask to school. When Honey finds said flask , Archie takes the fall for V. She thanks him by sneaking into his detention to smooch some more. He blows her off though, and later she finally admits that she’s been acting so erratically because she’s scared to watch Hiram die.
Speaking of Hermosa, there’s a mini-plot in which she dons a blonde wig and tries to get intel on the Maple Club and Red Raven Rum, and also maybe seduce Toni—even though I’m fairly certain Hermosa is a full adult and Toni is still a teenager—but Toni, Cheryl, and Veronica are too sharp for her games.It’s not a good week for our pal Jughead Jones, who starts the episode getting kicked out of Quill & Skull and fired from his Baxter Brothers contract .
• The Stonewall folks keep emphasizing the Ides of March as if it somehow relates to the current situation. Their pretentiousness is exhausting. • I love Betty standing up for herself amid Brett and Donna's sex tape threat by pointing out that she's the daughter of the Black Hood. She means it to prove that she can handle any reputation-killing stuff they'd throw at her, but it also could be interpreted as "my dad was a serial killer and I have the same genes so watch out." I would not cross Betty if I were them.• “When’s the last time all four of us hung out together?” Veronica, I have been saying this ALL season.
