Nick Kyrgios has left a golden opportunity to go deep in the US Open go begging after crashing out in straight sets to Andrey Rublev.
A devestating 38 unforced errors, largely on the Aussie's backhand side, handed the Russian a massive second set which knocked the wind out of Kyrgios after leading 4-0 in the tie-break. It was a bizarre and incessant theatric the Aussie had on display as he squinted, used eye drops and yelled to his box that he couldn't spot the ball.
