“Since I’ve been on [the force] I’ve seen them increase,” said Stutz. “As we’re getting more people in this state, in the valley from other states.”Stutz said the most common type of incidents tend to happen when one person is following another too closely.“So what I look for is our number one lane. It’s a passing lane, it’s not a fast lane, but you have someone that’s going a little slower than the other person,” said Stutz.
“If they’re still together when we’re there, soon as we get there we’ll get both vehicles pulled over,” said Stutz. “We make sure they’re separated so we can do our investigation of what happened.”
