UTSA baseball loses on walkoff in Conference USA championship game against Louisiana Tech

So, yes, no doubt.” UTSA answered with four runs in the fourth inning to take a 4-3 lead. Garrett Poston hit a double off the wall in left-center field with the bases loaded to score two, and Matt King and Jonathan Tapia followed with run-scoring groundouts.Louisiana Tech opened the sixth inning by loading the bases against new pitcher Fischer Kingsberry, sandwiching two walks around a single.
But the Bulldogs found another answer in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring two runs on a pair of Roadrunners errors. A miscommunication between second baseman Leyton Barry and shortstop King on a grounder put the leadoff runner on, and he came around to score following a single and a fielder’s choice.
