The LAPD has launched an intense hunt for a gunman in a series of shootings Thursday that killed three people and wounded two others in the San Fernando Valley and were investigating another shooting on an Orange Line bus.

“We are asking the public to be vigilant and be on the lookout for the man whose photos we released,” Rodriguez said. “He is armed and dangerous, call the police immediately if you see him.”Police say Zaragoza’s crime spree began hours earlier—shortly before 2 a.m.—when he gunned down his family inside an apartment in the 21900 block of Roscoe Boulevard near Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Canoga Park.
When police arrived they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. The woman, who has not been identified, died at a hospital. The man remains in critical condition.
