A video of a youth baseball coach and an umpire in Alabama fighting led to “significant penalties” for those on each side of the brawl, officials said Tuesday.
“After gathering information over the past 48 hours, we have levied significant penalties on each party,” Bright said Tuesday. “They are severe enough to warrant what happened.”Bright added, there was “mutual responsibility after a misinterpretation of a ruling and what should happen on the field as a result.”
