BRISTOL, Connecticut — A woman walked into a police station and fired several shots at the lobby’s bulletproof glass and at officers before she was subdued and arrested.
Investigators say Laprise entered the lobby at about 11:30 p.m. There was no one at the front desk, so Laprise banged on the glass while holding a handgun. Moments later, the video shows an officer barely open the door to the lobby in an attempt to communicate with Laprise. Authorities say she fired multiple shots toward the officer. An officer tried to return fire but his shots also were stopped by the bulletproof glass.
