The sole proprietor of Hong Trang Nguyen Vietnam Minimart in Bugis was fined $7,500 by the court on April 29 for illegally possessing and selling meat products.

A Google search indicates that the minimart at 269 Queen Street #01-241 is permanently closed.

Imported from unaccredited sources in Vietnam and China without valid import licences, the products were seized by SFA. "In addition, meat and its products can only be imported from accredited sources in approved countries that comply with our food safety requirements."
